MAS Detroit reserves the right to update program details, schedules, requirements, or other information when necessary.
Participation in MAS Detroit programs and activities is subject to availability and any requirements established by MAS Detroit.
MAS Detroit reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel a program or activity when circumstances require. When applicable, MAS Detroit will make reasonable efforts to notify registered participants of significant changes.
Participants are expected to follow MAS Detroit policies, instructions, and reasonable directions from staff, volunteers, and program administrators.
For youth programs and activities, MAS Detroit reserves the right to dismiss a child from a program or activity if the child violates applicable policies, rules, behavioral expectations, or administrative directives.
MAS Detroit accepts online payments for applicable activities, programs, and donations through the payment methods made available on this website.
By submitting an online payment, you authorize MAS Detroit and its payment processor to process the transaction for the amount displayed at checkout.
If you need to cancel your registration for an on-site activity, please notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled activity to be eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the activity may not be eligible for a refund. MAS Detroit will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requests when possible.
Online donations are non-refundable, as they are voluntary contributions.
If you believe an error was made during a donation transaction, please contact us within 48 hours of the transaction so that we can review the matter and assist you.
Approved refunds will generally be processed within 5–7 business days and issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.
The time required for a refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

By registering for or participating in a MAS Detroit event, activity, or program, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
I hereby release and hold harmless the Muslim American Society of Detroit (MAS Detroit), including its staff, volunteers, representatives, agents, and authorized personnel, from responsibility for liabilities, claims, losses, or damages arising from or related to my participation, or my child’s participation, in MAS Detroit events, activities, or programs, except to the extent such liability cannot legally be waived.
I understand that participation in activities and programs may involve inherent risks, and I voluntarily assume responsibility for those risks to the extent permitted by law.
I relinquish and waive, to the extent permitted by applicable law, any claims that I may have, or that my heirs, assigns, or successors may have, arising from participation in MAS Detroit events, activities, or programs, except for claims that cannot legally be waived or released.
I grant MAS Detroit permission to photograph and/or record me and/or my child(ren) during MAS Detroit events and programs.
I understand that photographs, video recordings, or other media may be used for legitimate MAS Detroit purposes, including program materials, publications, social media, websites, promotional materials, educational materials, and other communications related to MAS Detroit.
I understand that I will not receive compensation for the use of such photographs or recordings.
MAS Detroit retains the authority to dismiss a child from an event or program when the child breaches MAS Detroit policies, rules, behavioral expectations, safety requirements, or administrative directives, as determined appropriate by the administration.
MAS Detroit may take such action when necessary to maintain a safe, respectful, and effective environment for participants, staff, and volunteers.
MAS Detroit reserves the right to modify, adjust, reschedule, or otherwise change a program or activity as needed, including changes to schedules, activities, locations, staffing, or program content.
When reasonably possible, MAS Detroit will provide notice of significant changes.
By checking the applicable agreement box during registration or checkout, I acknowledge that:
I have read and understand the applicable MAS Detroit policies and terms.
I agree to comply with MAS Detroit policies, rules, and program requirements.
I understand the refund and cancellation policy.
I understand that online donations are generally non-refundable.
I acknowledge the Consent & Release of Liability provisions above.
If registering a child, I confirm that I am the child’s parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to provide consent on the child’s behalf.
I understand that MAS Detroit may modify programs as necessary and may dismiss participants who do not comply with applicable policies or directives.
By completing registration or payment, I voluntarily agree to these terms.
